Meet Dr. Kristi
Hi 👋 I’m Dr. Kristi Guerriero—
a chiropractor, wife, mom, and lifelong student of the body’s innate intelligence. My approach to healing is deeply trauma-informed and honors the truth that healing isn’t always linear—and it isn’t just physical.
My care model grew out of both personal experience and professional curiosity. I grew up in a family touched by addiction and emotional pain, and later found myself navigating anxiety and physical symptoms even while under traditional chiropractic care. I knew there had to be a more grounded, whole-person approach. StillPoint was born out of that knowing—a space that recognizes the power of safe, specific care to restore internal regulation and awaken the body’s capacity to heal.
My Path to Chiropractic
I’ve been fascinated by the human body ever since high school, when an anatomy class sparked something deep in me. As an athlete dealing with injuries—including serious low back pain—I found relief with chiropractic care in Memphis, and I knew I wanted to understand that healing process on a deeper level.
After two years at the University of Memphis, I enrolled in massage therapy school to explore the body through a more hands-on lens. Working alongside a chiropractor during that time confirmed what I already knew: I was meant to do this work. I moved to Atlanta to continue my education and earned a Bachelor of Science from Life University, where I studied exercise physiology, biomechanics, and health promotion. I was also fortunate to observe at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, where I saw the remarkable resilience of people recovering from spinal cord and brain injuries.
In 2016, I graduated with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic. I’ve since pursued advanced training in Torque Release Technique, the Webster Technique for pregnancy, Orthospinology, and Network Spinal Analysis—all with the goal of helping people reconnect to themselves, release stored stress, and return to a more grounded, authentic state of being.
A Little More About Me
Outside the office, I’m a wife and mom to a fierce and joyful 8-year-old daughter. As a mother, I know firsthand how hard it is to prioritize your own health while juggling everything else. My family is my anchor and the reason I’ve built a life—and a practice—that values freedom, alignment, and presence.
